Full Job Description: ClearWater Counseling & Wellness is a specialty practice, treating a variety of complex mental health and substance abuse issues. We are currently expanding our clinical and wellness team to fit with our goals of embracing a multi-faceted holistic approach in the treatment of our patients. We are looking for experienced Independent Contractors who can easily establish rapport and trust with patients. Mental health providers experienced in working with adults, couples, teens, and children. Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of a thorough assessment, treatment planning, and the ability to effectively implement treatment interventions based on DSM-5/ICD-10 diagnosis. Candidates are expected to complete all documentation in a timely manner and maintain current billing practices. Since the onset of the pandemic, we have seen an increase in referrals for child/adolescent and older populations, trauma, marriage/family, and addictive behaviors. The candidate will provide additional services that enhance our current services and help fulfill increasing referrals to the organization.
Required Competencies:
· Master or Doctoral Degree in the field of mental health. Valid license as an LMSW, LPC, LMFT, CAADC, PsyD, or PhD.
· As an Independent Contractor, candidates have the ability for flexible schedules, day and evening appointments both in-office or telehealth. They also work closely with billing, maintain credentialing with commercial insurances, and participate in group and
independent marketing.
· Performs specific interventions for patients with mental health and/or substance abuse conditions, supported by evidence-based theory.
· Effective, clear oral and written communication skills.
· Coordinate care with other providers.
· Uphold best practice standards for complete and timely documentation.
· Participate in clinical consultation.
· Maintain supervision based on your respective field requirements.
· The candidate will demonstrate critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, professionalism, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently.
· Must be familiar with ICD-10 coding, behavioral health billable codes, and the ability to accurately diagnose.
· Must always understand and uphold HIPAA Federal law regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
· Computer software proficient (Microsoft, Google Docs, etc.).
· Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work in a timely manner.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others (internal and within the community).
